As of Februrary 2008 The Irish Angler is part of the 'All About The Fly' family of full service fly shops. All About The Fly is a family owned and operated full service fly shop in Monroe, WA. Owners Ron and Kristin Torda are long time friends of mine are are comitted to offering the same selection, quality, and level of service you have come to depend on. Kristin and her partner Sandy Logan will be taking the helm on day to day operation at The Irish Angler. Jack will still be here for consultation regarding fishing, flies and gear so please feel free to call. Besides contuing the excellent GUIDELINE and Steelhead Anglers tying products we will be adding stuff like Airflo, TFO, SA and Dan Bailey. This just means selection and more bang for your angling dollar.
The Irish Angler is the brainchild of Jack and Kathleen Cook of Carnation, Washington. One evening over a cold beer and cigars at a Mariners game my lady decided that it was better to work at what you love rather than having a job and my full time work went to tying flies and guiding for Steelhead.
