DESIGN: Designed in consultation with experienced anglers.

QUALITY WIRE: Made out of very high carbon steel wire.

STRONG SHARP POINTS: Strong needle ground points with a carefully shaped geometry for the sharpest point. For some ranges we have used our own "Flashpoint" technique to perfect the points.

FORGED BENDS: The majority have forged bends for extra strength.

NEAT EYES: Carefully formed eyes, tightly closed.

SUPERB TEMPER: All hooks are heat treated to get maximum benefits out of the high carbon steel wire we use.

100% INSPECTION: Every hook is inspected to meet our high standards.

FINISHES: Black is a very popular finish for most specimen hooks, although some of our hooks are still in the traditional bronze colour. Black Nickel is becoming more and more popular for many types of fishing. Our Grey Shadow hooks have a "Niflor" finish.

Black Nickel is a relatively new coating on fish hooks. The black is quite shiny, and hooks coated with Black Nickel are chemically sharpened which gives an extremely sharp point.
