MICROSTRETCH is made from advanced Japanese 3-layer stretch fabric with a WPR exceeding 15 000 mm/psi. The lightweight and tear proof material provides a high level of breathability and makes the jacket feel dry and comfortable against the body under most weather conditions. The outshell is made from 150 denier with a two way stretch, which improves freedom of movement radically.
MICROSTRETCH has many features that would be expected from jackets way more expensive.
The water resistant YKK main zipper is made from rubber. This type of zipper makes the old type of storm and rain flaps on top of traditional zippers obsolete. This alone makes the jacket a lot smoother to wear. Two rubberized vertical zippers, one on each side of the chest, provide entry to two large inside pockets. Of course, there are also two large chest pockets capable of holding the largest Salar boxes. On the outside of each pocket, there are also extra tippet slots and under each pocket, there are hand warmer pockets.
There are two hidden retractors under the pocket covers, ensuring easy access to nippers, while keeping them out of the way from flylines while casting.
The arms have double closure. There is a Velcro closure on the outside and on the inside of the arm is a Spandex cuff that will keep any water away from entering further up the arm.
The hood has an extraordinary fit and we nearly made our manufacturer go crazy before we considered everything ok. It is easily adjusted with a one-hand grip in the back of the hood. No more loose straps in the front around cheeks and chin anymore.
MicroStretch is made in a nice Teal color and it is available in sizes XS-XXL.
