Shrimp/Squid Patterns
These flies are interpretations of of both well used and newly created Prawn and Shrimp patterns of the Pacific Northwest.  In the Northwest anglers like Ed Ward have pioneered the use of BIG flies for Steelhead.  These patterns are tested and effective in a variety of water conditions and on a variety of watersheds.

I2 Mini

Here it is.  A multi hued variation of the original.  A bit of flash, a lot of movement and a great profile in the water.  For years this has been a big time fish mover.  This one is a bit smaller and lighter than big brother making it easy to cast on smaller rods

Tied on 20mm shanks with 1/8" eyes, FLuoro FIbre, Rhea, Amherst Tail, ooooh!

Cascade Prawn

Developed on the excellent flows of the Skagit and Sauk rivers in Washington State  the pattern is a blend of top of the line marabou and rhea.  There are 4-6 colors of marabou blended into each one of these plus the contrasting feelers.  The Shellbacks come from different parts of the Ringneck Pheasant depending on the color
These are tied on 25mm Waddinton Shanks with an Owner trailing hook or Veniard's Slipstream tubes.
