The longer front taper means that energy is transferred progressively and with less effort on the forward cast. A fine front taper means less friction on the water leading to faster line speed, combined with better presentation.The key to consistency when Spey casting, is picking up the same amount of line off the water every time. Colour changes in the line provide the angler with a reference point 5´ from the end of the head to give consistent casting.The super fast, slick lines will complement anglers of all ability.
