Irish Angler - All About The Fly

Here is a "half inch" style Willy Gunn.  These little flies are especially effective when fishing water with high pressure.  These patterns fish 12-24" down on a floating line and allow the greased line angler the opportunity to take fish where others have been fishing the film with no success.

Based on the highly productive Willy Gunn this derivative is tied in the 'Temple Dog' style with a fairly large profile.
