Coastal Slow Intermediate

COASTAL SLOW INTERMEDIATE is aimed at flyfishers targeting Seatrout, Sea Bass and other species requiring a stealthy approach and long, accurate casts with a flyline that leaves no wake on the surface. The low-profile head has a length of 10,5 meters and transfers into a floating runningline that makes up the rest of this 32 meter long WF line. Built on a DC core, it will detect the tiniest pulls from a shy fish. The sink rate is 1,25 cm/sec. making it ideal for fishing just under the surface, even at a relatively slow retrieve. This density might require you to pull the line down under the surface during certain conditions. This is only natural for a line, as close to neutral as this one.

Coastal Fast Intermediate

Thousands of satisfied anglers swear by the COASTAL slow intermediate. We’ve had many requests for a line that fishes a little deeper to cover those fish that patrol the drop-offs and reef edges. The brand new COASTAL fast intermediate does just that, using the same popular taper and design but with a sink-rate of 3.8cm/sec. The DC core will help detect subtle takes and set the hook effortlessly, even at long range. The 10.5m fast intermediate, low profile head is seamlessly joined to a floating running line, giving a total length of 32m.

Pike Line

Flyfishing for Pike is a fast growing part of modern flyfishing. New techniques and innovative fly patterns for both surface and sinking line fishing are increasing the demand for the right lines as well. The Pike Series from Guideline offers the angler the option of two different lines that cover several of the situations that you encounter during fishing. There is a full WF Floater with a custom taper and a MD (Multi Density) sinking line for fish that hold on the drop offs. Both lines are built on our popular DC (Direct Contact) Low Stretch Core, ensuring a drastically increased hook-up rate.

PIKE SERIES WF FLOATING

This line was developed entirely based on the needs and the fishing-principles of Pike Flyfishing. The new type of taper used, will make casting large, bushy flies significantly easier than with standard WF lines. The unique distribution of the weight towards the front, has great impact on turnover and presentation of these difficult flies. A well balanced dimension on the runningline aids turnover even under difficult head wind conditions or when fishing from a boat. The length of the belly is 10,6 meters and the total length of the line is 28 meters. Color Sky Blue. Available in Lineweight #7-10.

PIKE SERIES WF SINK1/SINK3

A revolutionary new taper and the use of multiple densities have resulted in a unique line for those occasions where the big fish are hanging outside the shallows in depths of 2-5 meters. This line was designed by Finnish Pike fishing expert, Markus MaÅNnnistoÅN, who has a vast experience in fishing for Pike with the fly. An aggressive taper and the increasing density towards the tip, make this line stay at the desired depth during a longer part of the retrieve. The taper also helps when loading the rod for a new cast, with only very little line outside the rod tip. The running line balances very well against the 10,6 meter long head.

Pounch Pro

A favorite with many river- and coast anglers. POUNCH PRO will cast your fly during any kind of windy conditions and at the same time; turn over your leader in delicate presentations. The combined features of a traditional and a triangular taper is the key to its performance. It has earned a great reputation among the coastal flyfishers along the German, and Scandinavian coasts for many years. It is a very versatile taper that will work great in the rainbow lake as well.

Lineweight #5-9

Bullet

A flyline that is virtually unaffected by wind and larger flies. Shoots like a bullet! BULLET features a great balance and doesn’t collapse, despite the short head. This, of course because of the way the taper is designed, dampening any disturbance in the loop and sending the line flying with a minimum of blind casts. Just lift and shoot; you’ll be amazed at the result!

Presentation

PRESENTATION is a trout line, designed to perform in tight, overgrown waters, where room for casting is limited. The short belly offers a better chance to perform various presentation casts and speed-changes, even with the lightest of rods. As the total head length doesn’t exceed 8,5 meters, the line is ideally suited for short range fishing or when wading deep. You could be misled into thinking that this line doesn’t offer the control needed for presentation fishing, but don’t worry; it sure does perform.

Force

The FORCE WF line is used by our casting instructors and is also in demand on our demo shows for its well balanced taper profile. It’s simply suitable for all purpose fly-fishing and covers most of your fishing situations. Thanks to a slim profile, this smooth WF line is extremely easy to cast in windy conditions. The higher density of the coating will make Force stay just above the surface, right where you want it. We call this a low-float density.
