Yuri Shumakov Summer Arrow Tubes

Made for small flies and low water ties.

The Arrow is in fact a conehead mutant.  Summer flies used to be tied on plastic with small coneheads.  The idea is to tie light summer tubes without using cones.  The weight forward design brings the same balance as the other designs

The Skittle tube is the one with the best balance among all the heavy tubes.  It has enough weight at the front end to push the fly down and hold it firmly in strong currents.  The rear part is thin an allows the rear end of the fly to ride level.

Yuri Shumakov Long Range Tubes

Carefully engineered to ride level in the water.  Materials are tied on the plastic portion of the tube.  This allows for more materials with a less bulky head.  Available in aluminum or brass.  13mm in length.

The long range tube was conceived to reach the deepest lies without weighing a lot and dragging bottom.

Veniard's Plastic 'Slipstream' Tubes

Pre cut tubes with plastic lining to prevent abrasion.  Double walled plastic.  These are the best straight production tubes I have ever used.

You can see in the bigger photo that the plastic tube has the plastic liner running to within about 1/4" of the rear end of the tube.  This allows the hook to be inserted directly into the rear of the tube body instead of using connector tubing.

Silicone Tube Fly Junction Tubing

Silicone connection tubing to connect the rear of your tube with the hook.  Priced per foot.

Silicone tubing has a minimal wall thickness and the resulting tubing is limp.  This tubing will not change the way your fly sinks or swims in the water.  Vinyl tubing is bulky and stiff and makes a fly hang dead in the current.
