Guideline Power Strike Tapered Salmon Leader

LEADER AND TIPPET CONCEPT
No matter if you go for the Power Strike leaders or tippet material you can be sure of one thing, your concerns over the weakest link in your outfit, is reduced to a minimum during fishing. This is strong, dependable, high-quality stuff. Power Strike nylon leaders and tippet material are made out of a 3-layer high molecule monofilament polymer. Each section of the leaders and every size of the tippet material is built and designed individually to give the optimum combination of elasticity, smoothness and strength. The special formula on the outer coating of the Power Strike range prevents water penetration with 85% and at the same time, it has an outstanding ability to withstand UV-rays.

STRENGTH AND SUPPLENESS
POWER STRIKE has a differentiated elasticity and elongation, depending on the diameter and the intended use. The thinnest dimensions have a more molecular strength, while the heavier ones have a suppler polymer. The reason for this is to ensure that thin leaders won’t be too supple and weak and that the thicker material will remain flexible and not too stiff.

80/20 ELONGATION
POWER STRIKE has a low elongation up to 80% of its strength, after that, it becomes more elastic. This gives you more safety in the critical moment of setting the hook. The elasticity also acts as a chock-absorber during the hard press often put to a fish during the landing stage of the fight.

Specially designed salmon leaders with amazing performance. They are available in 15’ and a brand new 22’ length for the ultimate presentation of small flies in clear waters and low water conditions. The 15-foot leaders will ensure great turnover and long, balanced casts with doublehanded rods. The key to the performance in these leaders is the slightly longer butt section that makes sure there is enough mass and energy to carry larger flies and to cast in nasty wind conditions.

A perfect blend has created a material with low memory and great strength. Compared with other conventional tippet materials on the market, Power Strike has a “knot-ability” of almost 100%, making it easy to connect to your leader or other dimensions of Power Strike tippet material. It comes on ready-to-use tippet dispenser spools with a click system that lets you connect different spools of Power Strike tippet material into a versatile dispenser.

Guideline EGOR Fluorocarbon Tapered Salmon Leaders

EGOR is 100% pure fluorocarbon. This ensures you good economy because it will last longer than standard monofilament. More important, it offers some very distinct and sometimes directly crucial advantages in difficult fishing conditions.

ADVANTAGES OF FLUOROCARBON
EGOR is virtually invisible in the water and reduce reflexes from light by up to 60%! Water doesn’t penetrate the material and the density of fluorocarbon makes it sink up to three times faster than monofilament. It is totally resistant to UV-rays and saltwater and therefore, is very well suited to fishing in saltwater. The fluorocarbon in EGOR is rated as one of the most expensive, but also one of the very best on the market today. It has an outstanding knot-strength, little elongation and is extremely abrasion resistant.

CASTING PROPERTIES
EGOR has almost no spool memory and the stiffness in the material makes it turn over perfectly even in windy conditions. EGOR also acts as a great anchor in the D-loop when speycasting, because it penetrates the water surface faster than traditional monofilament. This will help you in loading the rod for the release of the cast.

These leaders are 9' in length.  The features of the fluorocarbon create leaders that perform in an outstanding way. The turnover and stability in these leaders is simply stunning. Because of the higher density in the material, new exciting methods of fishing your fly constantly appears. EGOR FC leaders can be extended both in the butt section and in the front, with EGOR tippet material.
